I definitely admire Google a lot more after leaving. Their eng excellence and culture at a 100000 FTE scale is incredible. Don’t miss it one bit though. I think the L3-L5 experience is worse than at other companies.
Why are you making it sound like Google is the only company to work for? Why after working for Google the person will have a special status?
