Got official offer for SRE at DUO SECURITY/cisco
YoE: 4.5
Current TC: 88k base+9k bonus = ~98k TC
Location: Detroit, MI but remote as well
CISCO/DUO SRE offer:
Base: 126k
Signon bonus: 13k
RSU:45k
Location: remote
I never dealt with RSU before and since this is only my 2nd time getting offered in my career so far I told my expectations 1 week ago is around 130k salary, without knowing they offer signon bonus apparently! I based this expectation based on a call I had last year with github recruiter, he told me youd get paid 134k (TC?) For MI based employees for a sr. Role I had applied for last year, but didn't work out.
Thoughts?!
At first glance I was speechless tbh, feels like I'm being ripped off in my current position for what I'm dedicating π€£π€£
