I guess in early stage startup it is weird to focus on only ios or android.
Which tech stack to spend time on to make production ready apps or close to production ready monolith apps until it scales.

And how do people create awesome features?
I think react native might have basic widgets nothing fancy
There are more than enough users to learn from either side of the iPhone/android divide.
Much of the infrastructure will be shared in assuming!
cross platform for is alright for most things but if it requires complex navigation or platform specific features you just end up writing separate code.
Also nice things like smooth UI, animation are mostly a no no.
you also look into using electron for common features i.e Slack for message view.
