I had an onsite interview a few days ago which i am awaiting feedback from a commitee for. I came in with a very strong written recommendation and I am confident that 3 of the 4 interviews think I am a strong hire for the team. The three interviewers that I am positive about are on the team I would be working on. The fourth interviewer I get the freling may be on the fence maybe leaning towards “no”. The 4th interviewer was not working on the team or with the position I am applying for. They work for google and they’re helping interviewee for this relatively new team.
1. What are chances of this going sideways and not getting an offer due to the one No (assuming it is a no) given that I performed very well in the other three?
2. Is the recommendation my former colleague gave included in my packet reviewed by the hiring commitee?
