Worked as a Sr. Engineering manager and promoted to a director for a product development company in Washington DC. Experience of around 15 years with like 12 years coding and architecture, 3 years people management experience, during these 3 years have been involved in design and architecture specially around integrations across the teams.

How can I plan my switch to amazon, msft, slack or PayPal, LinkedIn and also what kind of interview I can expect. STAR format, people management or coding design?

What Are roles I should be targeting? TPM ? Sr. Eng manager ?

Stay away from PayPal. It's not the place you want to be. I'd consider slack or Microsoft

Stay away from PayPal. It’s a dumpster fire with a tiny sewage pipe connected to the left side of it.

Gleaned few more details from other posts and it looks like it is design level stuff which is mostly asked during the Sr. Manager interview. Any pointers on what kind of case/design questions are normally discussed during Linkedin, Amazon, and others.
