Heard Lyft is opening an NYC engineering office. Looking at jumping ships.
Lyft friends, any idea where the engineers are? I know about the office in Long Island City.
Uber NYC office is a shithole, good people but awful physical location and I just can't handle it anymore.
Any interview tips or tricks?

Currently flat iron but soon to be in Chelsea.
The office itself is literally used to film SVU because it's that sketchy looking. It is an active warehouse and is landmarked, so the awfulness is locked in forever (renovations are hard). The floors aren't even level where I sit...chair slides around. Fire alarm goes off all the time
It's about a ten minute walk to the 7 and about 15+ to the C/E, which are the closest subway lines.
The bad commute is a factor
