500K RSU is good. 600K is exceptional for E5. I don't remember seeing 600K RSU for E5 HWE.

For new offers at IC5 HWE on the last year, lowest RSU value I’ve seen is $280k, highest $400k.

This years refreshes aren’t out yet. Last year I recall IC5 meets all refresher was around $80k.

  I dont get what you are confused about. I was just asking what the hiring team would start considering for E5? I know this is not for every case, but on average, as you said it is at least about 5 years. Thats all i wanted to know.

  I have 7 YOE, they gave me a high E5 offer. I asked them to bump it to E6, they told me it’s really impossible, E6 is given to people with at least 15 years of experience.
