Im excited at the possibility of working at Yelp but I have the onsite interview and getting nervous. From what I have been told its 4 rounds. 1 system design, 1 coding problem, and 2 behavior. But looking at glassdoor does not give similar format. Or when it does people say they are not leetcode style problems. Any one have any insight they would like to share. Much would be appreciated
Hey OP, do share your experiences after your onsite. I am looking for internships at Yelp, so it would be helpful for me.
Will do
For internships it's easy — online coding challenge, talk with recruiter, classic algorithmic interview, classic algorithmic interview + behavioral interview. If you have done enough LeetCode Mediums, you should be totally fine
The format was changed in the last year. The system design question can vary depending on the role. Coding tasks are not too hard, it tests overall coding skills and fluency moreso than tricky algorithms / data structures.
And what about the intern interviews?
How long do they take to reply??
Leetcode won’t help a lot.
Proprietary. 🤫
