I was wondering what the typical interview process is at Yelp? I had a phone screen and then technical, leetcode style interview which I passed. Now they want to do another online technical interview. Is this unusual? In my experience it’s always been Phone Screen -> Online technical -> OnSite.
Yep it’s usual. At least for me.
Phone screen as in talking to a recruiter? Then, yes, that sounds about right. My process was: recruiter chat -> Hackerrank -> technical phone screen -> onsite -> offer That’s approximately what happened at every company I interviewed at in my last search, as well.
This is typical for yelp.
How was your experience what was asked specially in system design
Our SD questions are specific to Yelp, so I wouldn’t expect OP to answer here. 😉
Paraphrase perhaps?
Ok, sJJ let me as it in a diff way. What would your recommend as a refreshed before a yelp phone screen for an system design. The grokking book? Anything else?
