I was put in focus/dev plan on Oct 6th. I have been actively interviewing since then and fortunately landed an offer. How do I convey my manager to put me in PIP politely? I don’t want to break bridges but I’m anyway in focus which means I can’t ever go back to Amazon. That’s why I want to be in performance plan and get the severance package.
Also, I’m on H1B visa. Any idea how it would impact my current visa or future I140?
Note: my H1B visa transfer is done
How much will I get for severance package if I’m put in PIP?
Yoe: 2 yrs 3 months
TC: 160K with base 110K

Have been at focus at amazon, beat it, became indispensable for the team, got google told them bye bye.
There’s the reason why I mention the word “politely” in my post
Will it be too obvious that I’m doing this for severance?
