I am not here to defend Meta.
I have been seeing these posts where people are asking or creating posts if Meta is dead or if it’s okay to join meta.
Folks you are putting way too much emphasis on RSUs and TC. I think it is not a healthy choice in long term. Especially you interns.
Don’t forget Meta products are used by billions and the sheer quality of engineering and design goes into each layer is immense. There is a lot to learn there. Do not make a decision solely on a company’s stock. Especially if you are young.
That’s it. Screw zuck. But don’t screw your career.

PE doesn’t matter if the company has nowhere to grow.
“A state-owned enterprise took a partial ownership stake in ByteDance's main Chinese entity and placed a government official, Wu Shugang, on its board of directors.”
“…The company has an internal CCP committee serving the party members among the employees”
“ByteDance's China business has a strategic partnership with the Chinese Ministry of Public Security…”
“the CAC stated that ByteDance had engaged in illegal data collection and misuse of personal information”
And this is only from Wikipedia, didn’t even read the whole page
I am fairly certain that EU will successfully stand up to Meta and Meta would have to leave.
Now imagine the subscribers from Eurozone and the subsequent fallout in the stock market.
Meta is toast man. Social media needs to die.
