You can start a YouTube channel while on H1B. You cannot monetize it.

Start the channel and monetize it... do t worry about the green card... you are not going to get one in this lifetime anyways... also, do t forget to fuck people from countries which opposed the regulation which would have gotten you the gc quicker...
