I’ll keep this short $100k+ gross a year driving mostly for Lyft (with some Uber) was possible in 2018, not so much anymore. I earned about $75k working a 9 and a half months full time in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). It’s now time to jump ship before I drown in debt. Can you team me what i need to know in order to land a job within 6 months? Inexchange for your time and effort, i will pay you a percentage of my salary should you gain employment in an engineering/developer role for longer than 3 months. I will pay more if I am able to land a job within 3 months. If I get a higher paying job within the first 12 months, you will be entitled to the difference. Theoretically speaking, if this works, you should be able to replicate this and make more money. You can accept the offer as an individual or as a team, the payout remains the same. I do know know some basics but my problem is I always run into a wall and have no one to explain it to me. I am willing to relocate almost anywhere in order to land a job. 6 months Under $150k - 15% of my salary for 18 months Over $150k - 17% of my salary for 18 months 3 months Under $150k - 20% of my salary for 12 months Over $150k - 27% of my salary for 12 months My preferences. I am willing to learn what will land me a job fastest. -Fullstack Engineer -Mobile App developer -Software Engineer I am 24 years old.
“I’ll keep this short”
CS50, MIT 6.001x, MIT 6.046 in that order
I think you’re confusing 046 with 006
Tldr
If you really want to make 150k a year, there are no real shortcuts. You have to be motivated and grind through it like everyone else. Once you get the job you’re going to need strong skills to meet expectations. Take some college cs classes, and focus only on learning, get an internship, never give up.
True that!
You sound like Indian consultancies
Idk I’m gonna have to go with the 6pc nugget meal today
You sound like my distant friend who lost his grandfather and now has $30M but wants a partner to help take care of his business in exchange of $20M
Wtf did I just read. This shit real?
Why is everybody so mean... Idk man, we just hired a girl with an anthropology degree and a month long boot camp on her resume. If you don’t get hired we can argue blatant gender discrimination which is painfully obvious. The only offer I was able to get in the last 4 months was for 224K in a non-profitable company and I have two Computer Science degrees from very top schools and over 8 years of experience. I strongly exceed expectations at work, yet I obviously can’t teach you anything because I can’t get a job myself.
So why didn't u take the 224k offer?
What boot camp did she go to lmao
