Hi, I have moved from India to Bay area. I did not get any extra equity when i got the transfer as per "company rule". Now the india equity numbers look peanuts to me when i think in dollars and also when i compare to the compensation numbers i see in Blind. Can equity be negotiated during transfer? Of all the guys who have come from India in Microsoft, do you guys not feel hard done by this rule? If there is indeed such rule. My equity component is like 10% of my TC and i it seems it should be more like 40-50% and i feel quitting right now.
