I have two offers.
1- Intel (SWE) : TC 210 K
2- Micron (MLE) : TC 150 K

Please comment with your reason why you selected an option in the poll.

INTEL :
Intel TC is good and had a conversation with the manager and team (no on-call or stressful environment). The Intel team seemed pretty chilled out.

MICRON :
At Micron, the group is "Smart Manufacturing and AI." I don't know much about WLB at Micron and the group. Micron people, please comment below regarding the group WLB.

I am inclining towards intel but heard that intel is not doing good and layoffs are common. What is the future of intel given the current scenario considering stocks are going down and other factors? Which one is the safe play INTEL or MICRON?

Intel stock is down but that is because the CEO is investing heavily in new fabs and also people. A lot of people got a significant pay bump this year to help with retention and they will be hiring a lot over next few years. There is always volatility with semi hardware companies, you pick your poison. I interned at micron but picked Intel for full time. In general compensation is far better. Also Intel still allows wfh and better flexibility (personally haven't had managers breathing down my back) whereas at micron they were forced to be on-site since summer 2020.

What position do you hold at intel? Software or hardware? Do you think intel will outshine its competitors. I am planning to start a family. Just don't want to be laid off after starting a couple of months.
