hey guys, I'm a Canadian coming to the Bay Area soon on a TN Visa. I was thinking I'll bring my wife on a TD Visa (she's also Canadian) and she can look for an employer in the Bay Area who will sponsor her own TN Visa when they decide to hire her. Is this a reasonable plan? Or should I be speaking with my employer's lawyers to set up my wife with some sort of work visa too.
Not really sure what's the smart thing to do here, looking for someone with relevant experience to chime in.

UX design may be considered graphic design idk. If she's not getting a bachelors she needs 3 years experience to be eligible. Talk with the lawyer that arranged your tn visa and see what they say her options are.

BTW, since she's Canadian, what are some pros/cons of her just entering US as a tourist and staying with me aka not applying for TD Visa. Just curious what the ramifications of something like this would be. Only asking because she's attached to her current therapist and would need to leave her if she gets a TD Visa.
