What are the kind of exits and compensation levels (comp growth trajectory) post McKinsey , Bain, BCG if one exits at manager level. Wondering if anyone can share details on how they found exits in non tech industry. I’m thinking pharma , retail, media etc. I’m interested in understanding what are some good options apart from FAANG. #consulting

Pay you can get something similar to what you have now, medium/long-term growth will not be the same though if you just stay at the same company. Especially given that you could be a partner within a few additional years of consulting.
Even if not your client necessarily, you can always ask around to some people you trust. Most people talk openly about leaving consulting anyway, at least here at McK.
My client offered me one last month but I would have to relocate and I am not planning to leave NY now. But I am still hoping to leave within the next 12 months, just waiting to become a manager which might happen in the next 6 months (I hope). Been here for a while already (Analyst, MBA, then came back)
