First of all, I hate doing my taxes. Second of all I hate doing taxes, knowing I am gonna owe A LOT.
I have been using Turbo Tax for the longest time. But last year I got a mail from IRS for missing some details - which apparently I should not trust their auto-import feature and I should do my due diligence before filing. I had to owe quite a bit on interest.
My tax situation is also getting very convoluted.
I want a referral to a good CPA in the Bay Area please.
I don’t know how to tell if someone is good.
* they all want my business
* they can get me some insane deductions - but what if I get audited?
How can you tell if someone is good? I don’t want to trust reviews on Yelp as not everyone’s tax situation is the same.
I want a CPA who can also guide me with my expenses each year to maximize savings.
Yours truly,
