Trying to analyse and learn because I’m reaching around 35 and nowhere near good career path/designation. Resulting in dwindling financial conditions.
For me it was not leaving the within 6 months after joining when I had an opportunity.

  • Dwindling financial condition when tc is 41L? Or are you comparing yourself with other people? I am just saying don't forget to appreciate what you already have.

Not joining grofers as the 5th person in the team and instead going for another similar sized startup that shut down while grofers is now an unicorn πŸ˜…

Got a connect from Albinder on Angel.co when they had just started up. Though I had just 1 yoe that time so it was a junior level Backend engineer role only but might have grown very quickly.
But don't have any regrets. If I didn't pass on that opportunity then I might have not started and sold my own start-up which in itself was a great learning experience :)

  • Many times we feel there will be answers out there on the internet but they are not. You have to help yourself with your unique circumstances. Communities like blind can help you get referrals. In general what to prepare is already out there. Don't get disappointed in yourself, forgive the past mistakes and focus on today and tomorrow. That's the only way forward. For your own sake don't compare yourself to others and feel left behind.
May be ask specific questions about how to manage finances to pay loan faster or how to land better paying job or how to have another income source. Even all those questions are answered at many places. It's finally boils down to individual to explore, act and try. This question is trying to dig the past. Not helping anyone.
People do manage life with lower tc and loans. May be start looking for ways to cut expenses.
