My friends in Visa! Cleared all the rounds for director level and recruiter said she iwill come back to me with the numbers. Up until this time, there were no discussion on salary and what i am making now. I stayed mute as well since i did not fee right to bring it up myself. How much do directors at VISA make? YOE:13 TC: 340k UPDATE: numbers released by recruiter. Base : 220k RSU: 200/ 4 years Sign on : 50k First yearTC: 320k

If you’re already at $340k at Apple, you’ll be looking at a significant pay cut to join Visa. There’s a ton of title inflation there and they are pretty weak with their stock awards.
You may get 260k as TC in FC .
Visa is known to be paying way under the market. None of them come from FAANG for these reasons. Director pay in Bay area tops 280 during a good year. Expect 15-20% lower in Austin.

Visa may match . Right now there is lot of attrition and visa is trying to match external offers to retain top talent. Work with your recruiter
