Blind tax:
TC:295K CAD (FUTURE TC GOOGL)
Hello everyone, i have a couple of questions regarding taxes and way Google pays it's RSUs in Canadá
1. i have 200k USD in GSUs and i want to know how are they paid, is it monthly or quarterly?
2. How does the tax affect them? I assume i have to pay taxes on those, but are they subject to 22% as they are deferred bonuses or are they subject to the same rate as normal income tax?
3. Is RSPP % referenced over the total compensation or just the base salary?
Thanks in advance

GSU could be higher.
Was this an initial offer or post-negotiation? If so, what was the initial offer?
And it's front loaded too. If you're sure you're not getting refreshers this amounts to around 260k cad per year. Still great for Google Canada but not a top option especially with 9 yoe.
200 + 0.15x200 + 200/4
2. I think it will be taxed similar to bonus
3. Not sure
