I currently work in Aerospace and I’m thinking about jumping to the Tech industry. Have a little over 8 yrs of experience. 3.5yrs in the high tech security industry and about 5 yrs in defense and space. How hard would it be to jump over the tech industry? And what about salary expectations and advise? Currently a lead software engineer.
Current comp:
180k yr
Usually about 3% minimum for yearly raises and bonus
