Hey guys, years ago I was referred to a role at Amazon, and at that time I received the standard email letting me know who referred me and if I was a great fit I could expect to hear back etc etc.
Well, I was referred last week to a role, but I have not yet received any communication from Amazon letting me know that they received it from the employee referring me. Has the notification process changed?
The person who referred me is a close friend, so there’s no reason to think it hasn’t happened. Just found it odd I haven’t been formally notified by their system.
Any insight would be helpful. This is a niche role, and I’m quite excited about it.
Thank you!

If lets say the candidate already applied for the job separately, they cannot be referred for the exact same jobid. Ask your referrer what message they received in the referral window once they referred.
Anyways, send them a different jobid of the role you are looking for. Usually there would be 100s or 1000s of positions open for a role.
