Amazon is finding it really and I mean really hard to find good people.
Directors are pushing for mandatory PIP quotas inspite of teams being under huge attrition.
Recruiters are stressed and forcing SDEs to conduct interview loops, asking them to be in all day interviews, ccing VPs if one declines the loop.
So, people have taken up to fake TC posts about Amazon. Weak and desparate candidates fall prey to such tactics and cave in exploding offers.
Beware of fake high TC and feel good Amazon posts across Blind and LinkedIn.
A company that needs to actually put a LP to become a good employer should tell you enough about it.

As an Indian and former Amazon employee, I can tell you that the social median clout is one of the things that you can look at to go through that toxic wasteland.
Issue of course is that weak managers cannot protect good engineers from PIP. Since Org leaders are several levels above the engineers, they don't have much visibility into their work.
350 in Seattle doesn’t surprise me
This is the blind equivalent of that navy seal copypasta
