Recruiter reached out for Staff SRE - after interviewing and getting an offer, was told I was "strong senior" and could likely move up in 6-12 months. Offer (remote US): - 175k base - 90k RSU - 15k sign on I've been told this is maxed out to show commitment to me, but how hard is it to actually be promoted, and will I be tied to previous salary going forward? Getting a promo in that timeframe is possible. It's not too hard to get promoted at that level. Of course it all depends on how well you perform.

I got a promo and still taking a pay cut after the 4 year vesting cliff. Tons of people leaving right after that. Company need to refresh ppl's package, I feel like am being treated as something disposable
Zendesk is known for good wlb if you want to chill. You can spend 4-6 hours working and that will be alright. Not perf system. Slow pace. If you're looking for $$$, Zendesk is not for you.
