Iโ€™ve never had a late payment. Revolving utilization 1-2%.

What am I missing?

I opened my first card at 23, with a limit of $1500. Got it bumped to $3500 at 25. Applied for a new card at 26 and added $5000 to my total limit. At that time, my score was 790. I never had any student debt or car loans. I just simply paid off my card every month. Today it's at 810 with a total limit of $20k. I have no idea why yours isn't above 800, but I think it should be.

    • What score are you checking? I can check through BoA or Chase, one is 810 the other one is 760!

At FB, I have an Experian account for credit monitoring. The score I'm referencing is Fico 8 I think.

At OP, I think you just need to wait I guess. I honestly don't know how I have a score of over 800 with only two cards.

If it matters, my TC is very low, < 75k.

Your credit utilization is too low. You need to show that you can take on significant debt and pay it back. Put $10K on a card and pay it down to $0 over 4 months or so.

This is BS. Low credit utilization is never a problem except when you just dont use credit cards.

Mine just dropped to that too. They recently changed the formula. Age of accounts matters too so that makes it harder the younger you are. You also need to have a home loan and car loan with good history to boost it.

Yes, it is ironic, the more in debt you are, and the higher the credit available, the higher your score. I.e. companies can make the most money from you. That is what score means really.
