I think at smaller YOE, growth and learning is more important than YOE
I joined Amazon as a college grad and it has been a rocket ship for my career. However, there is a cost of this progression and you might end up paying that via burnouts, screwed up WLB etc.
I always recommend Amazon for folks who have still no to some industry experience. You’ll will learn A LOT. Additionally, the ownership you have at Amazon is unparalleled. From the inception of a project to the finish line, you own everything. So as a new grad or 1-2 YOE person can learn a lot. Don’t forget that Amazon/ AWS is world-class service and you’ll contribute to something which is used across the globe, literally(more details when you tell me your team).
I personally was at your stage, MSFT vs AMZN. I chose Amazon and proud of that choice. Though I’m quitting in sometime, won’t recommend against it.
