Zillow compensation Big Data engineer Seattle...
Got a call from Zillow recruiter today asking if I'd be interested in a senior data engineer position herein Seattle. I'm certainly interested, but don't really have a pulse on what I should be asking for compensation wise for said position. Any estimates or insight would be helpful.

You should look for at least 250k total compensation

Generally, you can get 250k to 285k for senior and 300k to 330k for principal data engineer.

Anyone know how much actual programming big data engineers do at Zillow? Is it just ETL tools?
Most of our positions track closely to listed comp on glassdoor.
Even senior engineers at Zillow make nowhere near 250 as suggested by post below. Not sure what to believe anymore....
