Hi guys, I am a new grad and got offers from both Google and Facebook (both in Seattle). For Google, I was matched to GCloud GCP.
Compensation:
Google 118 126 40 (still negotiating, maybe more)
Facebook 123 150 50
I heard some bad comments on GCP saying the WLB in GCP is not as good as anywhere else at Google, and many teams do some very hard core infrastructure (not sure if it is good for career development), and I am worried about I may not have many choices to select a good team. In contrast, bootcamp at Facebook provides a more flexible team matching process (maybe it’s good to work on VR things?). Could you please give me some suggestions?
