I’m doing a part time masters in CS and I have an internship lined up at Nvidia as a Python engineering intern. My hope would be to convert to full time, not after graduation but at the end of the internship (I already have a degree so I don’t need to wait for my graduation to be eligible)
Can folks from Nvidia give me any insight info how hard it is to get a return offer? What percentage of interns are offered one? Does anyone know of someone in my situation getting a return offer before the graduation from a part time degree?
The reason I am asking is that I just got an offer for full time software engineer at another company. I really like the team I interviewed with but I am concerned about the commute once work from home ends. Maybe it’s crazy to even consider not taking a full time over an internship?
Edit: Pay is similar in both cases.
