How many problems per interview session at Facebook?

I have my virtual on site happening with Facebook soon and it includes two 45-60 min coding interviews.

During the first screen, I had to solve 2 different problems in the 45 min interview. Is it the same for virtual on site (as in 2 problems per interview session?) — or will it be 1 problem per interview?

The guideline is 2 questions, but it doesn’t have to be that way necessarily.

Don’t worry about number of questions, it’s the interviewer’s job to manage that. Just focus on answering the question at hand :)

    Good luck

  • For your phone interview, did you get Meta tagged questions from LC?

      OP
Similar to Meta tagged ones - the two problems were relatively straightforward, no crazy DP or anything. Was able to solve both with optimal solutions in the given time.

Worried if this time things will be different 🥶 Pretty nervous haha

  • I had 2 per round except one where it was one problem and then a follow up complicating the original problem, so still technically 2

2 is the usual. But it depends, if you get a LC hard…they don’t usually expect you to do 2 (emphasis on “usually”)
