saw an earlier post about working at volvo — what is culture like and where are the biggest US offices?
They also have RD in Sunnyvale, which is in the South of the bay area.
HQ is in NJ, I'm remote. I love it. Every one is very approachable, all the way to the top.

Hi, I submitted my application for software engineer at Volvo (position at california) last week. I am yet to hear from them. How about the recruitment process timeline? Will a referral work better? ( I am embedded software engineer with 5 years of exp in automotive)
Volvo cars is not owned by Volvo Group. Volvo cars is owned by geely corporation. HQ in NJ is for Volvo cars. Volvo group North America HQ is in Greensboro, NC
Your correct in spotting out that Volvo Cars is owned by a different entity. However, The Volvo Cars HQ is in Gothenburg Sweden.
Hey all anyone have insight on the GSO HQ and what it's like working out there? Interactions, work atmosphere, cafeteria food haha, etc.
R&D I believe is in San Francisco. The Volvo manufacturing plant (passenger vehicles) is in Ridgeville South Carolina, where I work. The trucking department...forgot.
