Comrades,

Google's response to the anti-diversity rambling was entirely justified and the perfect expression of our growing hegemony over the anti-progressive, anti-equity fascists that infest corporate America and especially the anti-human tech industry:

Because reason and evidence are tools of white, cis-gendered, ableist Western patriarchy, it was imperative that the engineer's "arguments" were entirely ignored and maligned as misogynistic, against diversity and inclusion and oppressive to womyn. Whatever science exists that may purport to explain why "men" and "womyn" are different is obviously a furtherance of said oppression and was rightly deemed fascistic, ideologically-influenced, and detrimental to the mental and physiological health of the oppressed classes at Google.

As our forebear, Michel Foucault aptly said, "Where there is power, there is resistance." We, the progressive left, have finally seized power from the capitalist oppressor classes. We control the humanities, social sciences and education departments at nearly all Western universities. We control HR departments across vast swaths of the corporate world (and will one day bring them to their knees). We control the media by and large (and are finally destroying the patriarchal alt-right misogynists on YouTube). It is to be expected that the death rattle of Western capitalism will be loudest just before it's final rest.

It's true that in our new, socialist future, wrong opinions (such as the belief in the primacy of private property, individual rights, or biological sex characteristics) will be met with re-education camps, forced labor, or better. This is the price we will have to pay to create our egalitarian society. Until then, public shaming and termination of employment will suffice.

Any perceived differences between genders are a result of arbitrary social construction and power relationships - not biology! (Indeed, "biology itself is problematic and sexist.) Therefore, to create an egalitarian society, it is necessary to completely eliminate the concept of gender. To do so, we must continue to promote trans-activism, especially among children and claim all who oppose us are transphobic bigots.

We are winning, comrades. Remember, a Marxist utopia, where equality of outcome is finally realized, is just around the corner. To get there, continue the following:

1. Smear anyone who opposes our vision as racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, or white-supremacist. Remember, truth doesn't exist. All that exists is power. Seize it and make the enemies of democracy (socialism) pay dearly.

2. Educate yourselves. Read Foucault, Derrida, Heidegger, Rousseau, and of course, the intellectual giant Marx.

3. Persevere! The glorious utopia is just around the corner!

It's easy to understand: if you, a lone individual, cause a massive shitstorm and PR nightmare for the $650b company that employs you, don't expect any protection from them. Like it or not, you represent the company at all times. Don't tarnish your company's image or your ass will be out in a heartbeat.

It turned into a PR nightmare because of the employees who threw tantrums and leaked it, not the author.

"So why are there so many more male than female engineers? Because women have systematically been discouraged from working with computers. Look at trends in college majors: since the 1980s, the proportion of female majors has gone up in science and medicine and law, but down in computer science."

i am one of the brilliant female engineers and i was simply explaining why all of a sudden in 1985 number of woman developers dropped sharply. Perhaps i am not explaining it well, please go and find the original research piece by NPR called "when women stopped coding" And if you tell me that NPR (!) is sexist and biased i will laugh
