Just got alert email from bank mentioned
SSN has turned up on one of the thousands of Dark Web sites. They asked to freeze the credit file.
Scary not sure any one used the SSN
Please advice do I need file police complaint after freeze

Yeah. Always assume your Identity/ssn is public knowledge. Freeze your credit being pulled at all 3 bureaus and you have nothing to worry about.
