I am a mother of two. Planning to resume working after 4 years of gap. I was a software developer in my last job. PHP was my primary skill set. To admit I am not very technical (i.e. not great at coding and not very sound at logic) but survived so far. I am thinking of having a job that is slightly technical. Therefore I am looking beyond developer job profile. I am confused what roles will suit me? I thought of being QA engineer and applied at few places but never heard back. My hypothesis is, I couldn’t show fake experience as QA and therefore couldn’t qualify for interviews.
Any recommendations on what job profile should I try? Is there any good training institutes here in Seattle, WA that I should join?
Thanks!
