Discovery of Blind makes life happier or unhappier?

Jun 17, 2021 15 Comments

Before discovery of blind, I was a happy (ignorant) father of 3 young kids. TC was ~165k in LCoL area. Working hours were ~25 hrs/week. After work, I play with my kids or exercise.

After discovery of Blind, I realized I was severely underpaid and started grinding leetcode and system design and making up bullsh*ts stories for behavior questions. Not much time for my family. Now I got a TC: 300k remote job. But I still spend lots of time on Blind. Whenever I see someone with a ridiculous number TC, I said to myself I need catch up in the rat race. Tried to quit blind but always come back fearing of missing out.
