Job offer at gilead sciences
Senior pharmaceutical engineer I have 9 years of pharma experience Offer: Base pay 135k. Bonus: 12% Signing bonus: 10% Stock options initially 30k Annually additional 10k to 15k 12k per year rental assistance. Moving from midwest. Should I consider this offer. Seems really low. Looking for advise.

Yes, ask for the max possible. Everyone knows the expense here is high and very hard for people move from out of state.

This looks low
It’s low. If u r single, it still doable considering brand name and experience (assume u still need them). If u have family and kids, it’s going to be very hard. Rental expenses is going to kill a chunk of your income after the $12k rental assistance.
