I have an onsite coming up for Embark Truck for software engineer position. Anyone have any insight into what to expect?
Any information about company? Is it worth interviewing there. I could not find much information about company anywhere?

  • On-site is really team dependent. There are usually less coding rounds than FAANG.

    Company has good culture and the people are great. WLB is fine. Pay is pretty good at the moment too.

    • Not sure how the leveling works exactly because it was newly implemented and I can’t lookup my level. Stock for new hires has a front loaded 40/30/20/10 vesting schedule. With refreshers you should expect to get equal to the 40% each year assuming salary and stock value were to stay constant. The TC for year 1 given this seems to map well to Google TC pretty well from what I’ve heard but we probably don’t have anyone at the high levels.
