I am seeing more and more people creating long Twitter threads to disseminate useful information or blog about something. Obviously it’s a bit tedious to read than a well written long form article. Are all blogging platforms dead now?

It's write the blog on some website and *disseminate* via Twitter/other mediums.
The dissemination has been divided from the hosting.
Mostly, substack is a brilliant exception.
A blog in essence is one continuous essay that you consume in an entire chunk.
The tweet chain is a really distinct writing style of interlinked small bites. It's very interesting from a literary perspective.
