Any advice on preparing for an amazon on site? I have 1 yeo so its likely gonna be SDE1/2 consideretion i would assume. thanks!
Prepare at least two stories per LP, try not to answer multiple questions with the same story unless you absolutely run out
It doesn't usually take more than 3-5 months to prepare for Amazon. Do a lot of leetcode for sure. Amazon asks questions directly from there and work on the leadership principle. YouTube Dan croiter
Wrong! None of the question for me was from Leetcode
Really? It's highly unlikely for that to happen. Even their OA are all well documented on LC
Good stories will span multiple LPs (2 or more). You can absolutely reuse them if applicable. Use your best judgement. I had a bank of 15 or so stories and they spanned at least 2-3 LPs each.
Is there an expectation of exclusively tech related stories or is it expected that you can kind of tie everything to LPs, not just past tech roles?
It could be anything you feel applicable to the LPs. Try to keep it work related but since you only have 1 YOE its not out of the question to pull stories from school or personal projects etc
Also - how far out do they tend to schedule the onsite? Will it be more along the lines of a week from now, a month? Etc
That's up to you. Recruiters won't force you to go on site if you are not ready. Probably notify them 2 weeks in advance would be enough. They are quick.
Most likely SDE1 because Amazon likes to lowball people
Good to know!
Hey im on the same boat when is your interview? Im also 1 yoe and interviewing onsite soon
I just got the communication today so I’m not sure specifically. Still waiting
