apple VP call
Iam planning on leaving amazon, in 2 months ill complete 2 years at amazon. my recruiter told me share the remaining bonus amount and the RSU’s ill be loosing before the VP call. I think she is asking me this data to indirectly conpute my current TC. i dont want to be on the loosing side by sharing my current TC. I want some help from the blind community to habdle this situation. any help would be appreciated. and one more thing what to expect in this VP call. tc 210 yoe 5
You should not be asked to share anything about current compensation. Only compensation discussed should be that for the role you’re moving to.
She wants to get information to offer you a sign on bonus. You wouldn’t be the first person Apple hired from Amazon who didn’t make it to two years. She can’t go to bat for you on a large sign on bonus without some justification. The less you tell her, and in the absence of a competing offer, she’ll lowball you.
Apple is fair and wouldn’t low ball you. Just tell her a bit higher number and you should be good.

Don’t share bonus and RSU. Instead say what it will take you to accept.
I won't respond to that. Or would say I am not comfortable sharing those........ Worst case I would give out a slightly higher number.
