todays marks end of 10 days since i interviewed at apple... my interview went fine! was able to meet all listed interviewers except for skip level and VP of the org which were listed as tentative ... could not meet them as recruiter said their schedule keeps changing. however that being said , everytime when i ask the recruiter for interview outcome , she says “she doesnt have the feedback and will touch base once she has an update! “ does this indicate that its a silent rejection ? without ghosting ? or the team genuinely takes time to give feedback ? do the team usually come back with positive feedback after taking so long ? the wait is hard 😕
They’ve offered another candidate and are negotiating with them first. If the other candidate(s) fall through they will consider you further.
Same happened to me 3 months ago. They acted like they wanted me. Made me talk to director post on-site. Then it became they haven’t heard feedback from the director and all on-site feedback was good. Eventually they said the position was put on hold.
This sucks ! 😕
10 days? Most companies don’t work that fast, lots of paperwork and people in HR just move slow. Continue to check in with the hiring manager or HR rep once a week, but start hedging yourself and look for other roles.
I received the feedback on 3rd business day. I am not sure about how much time rest of the process will take.
If your skip level didn’t meet you, it’s likely you didn’t pass. On my team, If the feedback is all good throughout the day, then you’ll meet the skip manager last for a final approval/deny so it’s fast tracked for sign off
Similar situation as you.... Have you heard back?
I heard back after 3.5 weeks that the team does not want to move forward ... basically it sounded like I was on standby list until the preferred candidate accepts the offer ! What about you?
Did they finally get back to you? I’m in a similar situation to yours

Assume rejection
