applying to multiple jobs @ Microsoft

do the teams at Microsoft communicate to each other when it comes to hiring? I applied for a PM role and turned in my prescreen assignment last week and the hiring manager said she’ll let me know the next steps when all the assignments are in, this was 2 weeks ago. I don’t think I’ll get it because I have very little PM experience. I just saw a SWE role that I like and i’m thinking about applying but I don’t know if I should wait to hear back from the PM application first or I can apply to multiple ones at the same time without causing a conflict.
