Since last year, I started taking a course on Coursera and I've been a fan. I really like the company's mission. There are a few positions that I'm planning to apply soon. How is the WLB at the Mtv office?

WLB in MTV was not great pre-pandemic, not sure how it is now. Coursera is remote first, so most people are actually remote now. You have to work hard to set boundaries. People often work weekends, evenings, and on PTO. It’s post-IPO but still very much a startup grind.

On my team and most teams I know WLB is pretty good but you have to work on this explicitly. I haven't seen anyone who would be forced to work weekends or evenings but with everyone being remote and working in different time zones and overall flexible hours sometimes it feels the machine is working non-stop. you just got to stop checking slack and email after your working hours and then it's good :)
