PERM process with other office location

Hey folks,
I've started a new role recently (through H1-B transfer) and the PERM process is about to start for the first time. Main hiring org is in San Jose, but willing to work from Hillsboro location due to family constraints. Will be travelling to San Jose only when physical presence required in lab.

How is PERM processed in such case, where I am telecommunicating? Are there certain risks involved? Anyone got there PERM approved from such remote work location?

    PERM is for future permanent job offer the foreigner intends to take. It will be where you will he working from. If in future you will be in Hillsboro then perm is from there.

      Yeah, the attorney just mentioned that they can file PERM in a particular way for this situation. I am trying to understand if it there is substantial risk involved.

      I dont think so. As long as travelling for the job is required, there is nothing to worry about imo. Consulting jobs require 100 percent travel at any client location and they get PERMS certified.
