Not sure about WAN. But So much chaos in PhyNet. Countless diverse tools that need a steep learning curve and collectively don’t solve problems. And you will have to work and learn like a network engineer to survive the on-call like logging into devices, debugging routing tables, etc
Not a good place for software engineers to grow their skills.
In general stay away from Azure Networking. The on-call load is really bad and you don’t have the adequate tools to handle it.
