Cohesity RSU refreshers

Hi friends,

Could you please let me if cohesity gives yearly RSU refreshers for majority employees and what percentage of people get it and what would be the usual value of the refreshers?

    OP, you will be a cost center at that high TC. The pressure will burn you out real quick. Cohesity likes to get the most of you in one year. Your position will be advertised for India’s hiring in a year or so to cut the cost. Terrible place . They treat everyone as expendable. At least Amazon does for 2-4%, cohesity does it for everyone.

    • Lol why are you still here, my friend? Or you are one of the ex employees ? Cohesity has been good to me. But we are big enough where your experience might be different in a different part of the company.

  • Why do you want to join Cohesity? Doesn’t matter the value of stock (it’s paper money that you may get or not). You will need to survive the toxic culture for a year first. There is not much opportunity to do interesting work anymore. If you do survive, refresher will depend on the comp that you join at. If you already negotiated a good comp, you will not get any refresher (or very minimal). Please read all the other reviews before leaving your job at Salesforce!

  • Yes, we majority have refresher. Refresher depends on the level and performance. Personally the value is decent.

      You numbers don’t add up. Do you get an extra 8k/y or 2k/y? It doesn’t matter when they vests. Question is how much extra you get in rsu. From friends who worked there, almost no refreshers unless your original rsu were way low.

    • In simple words I get 8k refreshers every year to be vested for next 4 years. In current cycle its even better. Its for 3 years.

  • I have been here just over three years. I think my raise was about 10% my first year and 8% (but that was when we added a bonus) my second. I've had two stock refreshers, each was the same number of rsus as my initial grant.

      Thanks @DiMa54. If you are performing above avg, do you get it or only top 20% get it? Would it be changing after IPO? Do you by any chance know when is expected IPO? Thanks again
