Infoblox vs others
First post, dunno if anyone is even gonna see this. Infoblox has made me a decent offer, TC 160k-ish with joining and annual bonus, at an E2 level. They're pushing to sign. I have 6 other companies ( Adobe, Google, Qualtrics, Hashicorp, Splunk, DigitalOcean ) that I'm interviewing at, no offers yet. I don't want to make them start h1b transfer if I don't want to join. Should I reject infoblox and continue interviewing, or take the job and end this madness? #offer #infoblox #interviews
What is e2? What is your yoe? Did you accept the offer?
Hi! E2 being Software Engineer II, between the entry level and senior role ( at least at my current company and also Infoblox ). YOE is 4, though I barely count the first 2 where I learnt nothing tbh. And nope, I ended up rejecting them, which while risky cause I had ( and still have ) no offer on hand, I'm going into final rounds for Splunk, Hashi and Qualtrics soon, and still in the game for Google and DO, so I'm feeling optimistic about my chances heh.

Great place to work! super smart folks and big engineering culture, and everyone is respectful. 160 for a 4yoe is pretty good. It's not a G or FB or AWS but you get to do solid work on a stack thats going to expose you to many different tech. I wouldn't let overpay by the big tech companies make you think a 160 offer for 4yoe is not good. Not to mention that promotions are very easy and quick if you are good at what you do and can deliver. Good luck, hope you found something else. If not, you may want to consider.
Never heard of this one but 160k is not a great offer for e2. You already did the all the study, don't settle for the first offer.
This is def what I'm also thinking. I like that it's a Go team, they have a good tech stack and is smaller so I might have a better voice as a dev ( compared to say adobe/Q ), but yeah settling for the first offer after all this time investment seems like the wrong decision. Danke!
