Looking to buy earbuds for times when not feeling like wearing my bose 700 and finding it tough to decide on.

I currently own pixel 4xl so pixel buds seems a great fit but I am reading a lot of connectivity issues, left ear hissing noise and some people reporting pain. So, that has put me to doubt.

The other alternatives I narrowed are Jabra active 65t and airpods pro but seems like that they may not go best with 4xl.

Looking to make a decision here. Any thoughts. Pros/cons from one's experience.

Highly doubt people have actually tried multiple of these, AirPods is just voted because it’s the most popular

I love my jabra 75's. Fit really well, comfortable and good battery life. I tried a friend's airpod pros and they were really nice but for short commutes on the train/gym etc, jabras are spot on. I also have the Bose 700s for working and love them

Hi wltofhsv1, sorry to bug you but if you could help answer to the problem I am facing with my new bose 700, which I were liking for initial days until now.
They are paired to both my laptop and phone but whenever I am on meet at my laptop or even listening music it keeps getting interrupted by the phone notifications for good 3-5 secs each time.
Moreover last time while on meeting when the call came it cut me off the meet immediately while I was talking.

These are my first multipair headphones so I am not sure if this is what multipair offers as this seems to be not friendly to my use case atleast. A beep or something to indicate activity on the phone would be great rather than overriding what's playing completely or cutting the device I am active on automatically.

I checked on bose forums and seems like many threads and some suggested to turn off Google assistant notifications access but that defeats the purpose as can't use assistant anymore.

So, was just wondering whether I am doing something wrong or missing something and thought to check with you based on your exp before I decide to return them.

      TIA!

So this is just a wireless battle, have you even considered wired? That's an entire level beyond these poor wireless choices.

You’ll like the AirPods if you liked the Bose 700, the noise cancelling is on par

Yes, that's the reason am considering them. Heard that touch controls work well but might not be the best exp as with Google buds.
Google is releasing a software update this week to fix some connectivity and hissing issues.
Not sure with all the dogfood and testing how could we go so wrong. It's not one of complaints but forums and support filled with complaints. What were the dogfooders and testsrs doing (considering there was a dogfood for them, not sure though).

@Google the moment the mobile industry went all wireless was when people stopped caring about audio quality. Today, everyone cares about form, not function. Sound quality took a backseat long ago.

  • AirPods Pro were great when they first came out, then they updated the firmware or something and now the ANC is trash.
