About to join CESG as a new grad. Anybody working in CESG, can you shed some light on the wlb?
Do you guys get enough time out of work to do leetcode?

Intel is chill, great wlb. I was there for 10 years.

You should see Intel as stepping stone to Apple or Nvidia. You'll make more at these companies.

Thats actually a very true statement. Use it as a paid post grad education. Internal transfers are easy and learning is great early on in the career.

What you do at many places in Intel has very little to do with your promotions/pay and career progression. Political wrangling and having the right genetics/sexual orientation is far more important than contribution.

  • Afaik, wlb at Intel is pretty bad. Too much life, no work.

I hope that means I'll find some time to interview other companies and get out of here.

Yeah, that's why I'm looking to shift soon. But definitely not Amazon.

I've been at Intel for almost 7 years and I can say that the WLB is pretty good. However that is going to be heavily dependent upon where you're working and who you're working under.
